Hello I’m Kristi, a 2nd year graduate student. I’m the media coordinator for iNUGSC 2018; I will be liaising with different medical schools and helping organise our outreach programme. I attended NUGSC 2017 and that inspired me to take part this year. I aim to become a surgeon and I hope that our conference inspires you too.
Hiya, I’m a 3rd year medical student intercalating in Psychology. As the Publicity Team, I edit this website and run our social media accounts to try and get our word out there. I hope you’re just as interested in surgery as I am and that you’re excited to see what we have lined up!
In this team I oversee ticket sales, catering and administration. Surgery is a key interest of mine and I’m currently doing research with the Royal College of Anaesthetists. I’ve also attended the 47th World Congress of Surgery, which allowed me to form a better idea of a surgical career.
Hello! I’m a 3rd year medic doing an iBSc in Neuroscience. As part of the logistics team I work with Sophia to ensure that the conference runs as efficiently as possible! I had the best time last year and I’ll do my best to make sure everyone enjoys iNUGSC just as much.
As a 4th year graduate medic with extensive involvement in academia, I’ve appreciated the importance of research for surgical advancement and therefore have undertaken the role of Academic Coordinator. I aim to encourage research amongst our peers, promote their projects and offer them the recognition they deserve.
